A World-Changing Company

Farpoint is a consulting and technology firm built at the intersection of strategy, data, and implementation. We help organizations remove operational bottlenecks and unlock performance by applying practical, scalable AI and automation.

Our consulting arm defines and executes digital transformation roadmaps, while our software teams design internal tools and deploy solutions that make those transformations real. Together, we diagnose problems, build systems, and deliver measurable results that endure.

We’re not a startup chasing the next round of funding — we’re a steady, profitable business powered by client success. Farpoint operates with the energy of a modern tech firm, but with the composure, structure, and professionalism of a management consultancy.

Our work combines the rigor of consulting with the creativity of product development — enabling us to take clients from idea to impact without handoffs, and without the burnout that plagues traditional services industries.

What We're About

At Farpoint, we’re driven by a mission to solve the world’s most complex challenges with transformative AI solutions. Our work spans industries and geographies, empowering enterprises to unlock new possibilities through cutting-edge technology.

By collaborating with clients and internal teams, you will design and deliver AI strategies and solutions that drive real-world impact. We value curiosity, adaptability, andarelentless drive for results. Farpoint's culture thrives on collaboration and innovation, with a team of strategists, engineers, and designers working to push boundaries and create lasting change.

What You'll Do

As an Associate in Consulting Delivery, you’ll bridge the gap between business problems and technology-driven solutions. You’ll work directly with senior consultants, engineers, and designers to understand complex workflows, diagnose inefficiencies, and design AI-enabled solutions that drive meaningful change.

You’ll be exposed to the full consulting lifecycle — from problem framing to execution and adoption — but in a culture that values depth over speed and craft over chaos.

This role is ideal for someone with 2–5 years of experience in consulting, finance, or a similarly analytical field who enjoys structured problem-solving, thrives in cross-functional environments, and wants to pivot into technology and implementation without sacrificing balance or growth.

We're Looking For:

Problem Solvers

  • Work as part of small, focused teams to analyze complex client challenges and develop sructured recommendations.
  • Conduct research, synthesize data, and prepare client-ready deliverables that support decision-making and implementation.
  • Support workstream planning and execution across strategy, technology enablement, and operational transformation projects.
  • Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to ensure solutions are grounded in their realities and objectives.

Knowledge Creation

  • Capture and distill insights from each project into reusable frameworks, templates, and playbooks.
  • Contribute to Farpoint's internal knowledge base and help refine our consulting methodologies.
  • Assist with proposal development and the creation of client-facing materials that showcase our impact.

Technology Identification and Commercialization

  • Translate business challenges into actionable technology use cases.
  • Partner with engineers and product teams to help design, test, and scale internal SaaS and AI-enabled tools.
  • Evaluate external SaaS or automation solutions and assist in vendor assessments, licensing models, and go-to-market planning.
  • Support commercialization of Farpoint's in-house products – from product-market fit assessments to client integration pilots.

Advisory Services

  • Participate in client coaching and enablement sessions that build AI fluency and digital readiness.
  • Support senior consultants in designing and delivering training modules, workshops, or capability-building programs.
  • Document and refine Farpoint's advisory frameworks that guide how organizations scale AI and automation responsibly.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 2–5+ years in a consulting, banking, technical project management, or similar client-facing role, preferably at a MBB firm or in an AI-focused organization.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; comfortable structuring ambiguous problems.
  • Client-Facing Expertise: Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Technical Aptitude: A foundational understanding of AI; curious about how technology, AI, and data can reshape industries.
  • Collaboration: Collaborative and low-ego – you value progress over personal credit.
  • Results-Oriented: Self-directed but thrives within a disciplined, team-based structure.

Bonus Points For

  • Familiarity with AI concepts like natural language processing, predictive modeling, or generative AI.
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Matlab, SQL).
  • Previous experience working on AI-powered solutions or digital transformation projects.
  • Skilled with Excel and Keynote
  • Ability to travel 25 – 75% required. Varies by location and team.

Compensation Details

Base Salary: CA$75,000 - CA$90,000 (commensurate with experience)
Performance Bonus: Up to 15% of base
Work Format: Hybrid, 50-70% remote
Location: Vancouver, BC (Canada-wide flexibility for exceptional candidates)

Life at Farpoint

Nothing about how we work is typical. Our commodity is creativity, collaboration and human-centred innovation.

We don't have discrete departments, rigid job titles, or corner offices. In fact, most corporate trappings simply don't work for the kind of work we do, and honestly, neither do the types of people who crave them. The success of our company depends on hiring people who are not only smart and talented, but who also have great emotional intelligence. We look for insatiable curiosity, irrepressible optimism, deep empathy, and those who play well with others. (Lone geniuses need not apply)

What We Look For

  1. End-to-end people. You're someone who can take take something abstract, create a strategy and execute the plan to completion. You don't talk, you build.
  2. They say "we" more than "I" when recounting accomplishments. If they’re generous with giving others credit, we know they’re team players and will accept feedback.
  3. They talk about failures, not just wins. If you’re trying to bring new ideas into the world, you’re going to fail…a lot. How you recover and learn from pratfalls is the true test. Or as we say: “Fail often to succeed sooner.”
  4. They've spent time teaching as well as learning. Having an advanced degree shows diligence and mastery. Teaching shows you’re committed to making others successful, too.
  5. They’re nice to the receptionist. When the interview is over, we check with whoever’s manning the front desk to see how the candidate acted upon arrival. Were they polite and friendly or did they treat the receptionist poorly? If it’s the latter, we know they only relate well to those in their perceived social group. Not very empathic or human-centred.

We believe in asking for forgiveness, not permission. This goes for the job application process, too. Turning in a standard-issue résumé and cover letter won’t turn heads. Candidates who have wowed us have taken creative license and gone the extra mile to demonstrate their capabilities and passion. They’ve made video portraits, designed custom apps or, in one case, brought in a dancing robot.

Hiring’s not an exact science—finding truly outsize talent never is—but these five qualities help us hone in on that most elusive quality: someone who feels like they belong at Farpoint.
